Manufacturer’s Village artists to host free annual Open Studios weekend October 16th and 17th, 2021 from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Manufacturers Village Artist Studios, located in an 1880’s industrial complex building in East Orange, NJ, will open its doors to the studios of over 60 different artists Saturday and Sunday, October 16th and 17th, 2021. The enclave, just minutes from Thomas Edison’s original workshop, houses artists working in a variety of mediums.
Visitors will be welcomed into the studios of professional painters, sculptors, woodworkers, quilters, printmakers, photographers, multi-media artists and more. Artwork will also be available for purchase.

The self-guided tour of studios also includes an opportunity to view the East Orange Community Black Lives Matter Mural, one of the state’s largest and most beautiful murals. Painted in the spring of 2021, this 9,000 square foot mural was created by sixteen artists of color from the greater East Orange Community, some of whom will be present at the event. Local food trucks will also be on site.
