This past week, Eva Marie Workshops of Phillipsburg NJ hosted a socially-distanced, in-person workshop with pottery crafter Susan Lubbe of Gardens of Grace.
The workshop was titled “Beautifully Broken.” As part of the session, Susan led attendees through a hands-on creative project in which they assembled and adhered broken pieces of colored tiles onto flower pots.
When finished, each had a uniquely beautiful mosaic- patterned pot in which to plant seeds.
Says Christian Women’s Empowerment Coach Marie Webber of Eva Marie Workshops who hosted the event, “That’s what God does with our broken pieces when we give them to Him.”
