Healthy Happy NJ here sending best wishes to the new bakery in Phillipsburg.
Bake House on Main is officially open, with today (July 14, 2020) being their first official day in business. I got the heads up on Facebook and decided to check them out on their first day open.
Apparently they are formerly Sarivan Bake Shoppe of Belvidere – relocated to P-Burg. Good stuff.
We stopped in for a visit at about 11a.m. today after a haircut at Klippers in Lopat. Everything was running smoothly, with a nice flow of bakery customers but not too many at one time.
Everyone wore masks and all were appropriately distanced. We ordered a brownie with nuts, a blueberry muffin, a bag of biscotti (chocolate chip and almond/cranberry) and a coffee with half and half for me. Everything was fresh and delicious.
Bake House on Main is located at 215 North Main – where Memorial Parkway meets North Main Street in Phillipsburg. I hope I said that right.
It’s at that corner spot… next to that Warren Auto place. Other places that are around the general vicinity are Bella Via Italian Restaurant and the NORWESCAP thrift shop.
Bright green painted house located in that funny little triangle patch off the highway – hard to miss! Now home of Bake House on Main.
Bagels sell out quick… better get there early next time.

They even make homemade doggie bones!
