A new food pantry, the Washington Basket, officially opens its doors today, December 1st, welcoming new clients in Port Colden, Washington Township, Warren County NJ.
The Washington Basket Food Pantry project was launched by and is affiliated with the Open Cupboard Food Pantry of Clinton, NJ.
They are currently in need of donations at the Washington Basket, Port Colden Mall location.
Below find all information, provided by Jennifer Tavormina, Executive Director of the Open Cupboard Pantry in Clinton and chief coordinator of this initiative.

We start accepting clients at the Washington Food Basket on THURSDAY Dec 1, 2022.
Current pantry needs:
- Conditioner
- Body wash
- Deodorant (Women’s & Men’s)
- Coffee
- Pea soup
- Canned fruits (oranges, peaches, pears,
pineapple) - White rice, 1 lb. bags
