Hello December! Here’s to the most wonderful time of the year… or is it? 🤔
Oh yes it must be, look at all the cheer! 🌲And sometimes decorating can be fun, but
Either way, it’s ok to get burnt out sometimes. And it’s also ok to lie on the couch to just decompress. And watch a show, or two… and fall asleep before we get to finish the last 7 things on our to-do list… It is ok, really.
With yoga, it’s all ok… because valuing ourselves and reconnecting with our human requirements for self-care is necessary, in whatever form it takes.
After all, yoga means union. Our crazy town selves reuniting with that part of us who knows she doesn’t need to blame herself or anyone else when things are going awry.
She can get her zen on by practicing “getting comfortable with the uncomfortable” on the mat so that when the Schhhtuff happens in real life, she can deal.
