Yesterday, June 17th 2024, to the delight of all their fans and loyal customers, Key City Diner on Rt 22 in Lopatcong, NJ (Phillipsburg area, Warren County) reopened its doors to reveal a totally redone, fresh modern look.
I’m excited to share pictures of the newly renovated, better than ever, Key City Diner!
Back in 2022, the building caught fire, and the owner was forced to close down.
Today I happened to be driving past the diner when I noticed a full parking lot, and I had to stop in and see what the deal was.
It was great to walk in to a packed house… smiling hostesses and servers welcoming guests in the front door, the hustle and bustle of a well-loved restaurant, and all the great food smells.
I was given a menu which I will share with you here in this post. Those of us who loved the diner are super excited that they are back and better than ever!

Best Diner in the Phillipsburg Area of NJ!
If you live in or are passing through the Philipsburg/Lopatcong, New Jersey area, they are right on Route 22 Westbound just after the highway intersects with Route 57.
I will leave pictures of the menu here for you; they do offer take out.
